Gasifier
The Gasifier is a device which converts firewood into gas, which can be burnt just like LPG. However unlike LPG, it cannot be stored in cylinders for later use. The wood gas has to be used as it is produced. Fire wood chips(3-4"size)have to be charged in the gasifier before starting and burning gas can be obtained within 10 minutes. One charge can last for nearly 5 hours. It requires no constant attention expect occational shaking of the grate. A blower is required to pass air through the gasifier to obtain gas.
